TASTING NOTES
Golden body with some peachy haze to it. The head is dense and fluffy, with a creamy color. Think about the rich golden sunset color of apricots and the flesh of a black plum.
👃 WHAT AM I SMELLING?
So much ripe plum! Then a touch of the apricot just behind it. You can sense it is going to be a sour taste, with a note of acetic acid peaking through.
👅 HMMM, THAT TASTES LIKE…
The acid is definitely a dominant force in this beer. Apricot is clearly present. The plum has that lightly earthy note that the meat of plums can give while still being sweet. A light wheat character supports all of the bright and snappy flavors. For such a high alcohol beer this is troublingly easy to drink.
😋 THERE’S A PARTY IN MY MOUTH!
Soft body with moderate carbonation. The acid is the last thing you will taste and it leaves you with a little bit of a pucker of the cheeks.
