TASTING NOTES

👀 HOW’S IT LOOK?
Golden body, with a dense white head that caps it off – leaving lace down the sides as you take a drink.

👃 WHAT AM I SMELLING?
Faint orange peel, baked smell of hawaiian rolls and a hint of graham cracker. Malty without being sweet and overpowering, hints of esters making it bright and citrusy. As it warms earthy hop notes develop and balance the malt.

👅 HMMM, THAT TASTES LIKE…
It tastes like happiness. Slightly sweet and refreshing, but leveled off with a complex malt character with hints of fresh baked bread crust and crackers. A classic complimentary hook of noble hops in the finish – with just a touch of earthy, herbal character.

😋 THERE’S A PARTY IN MY MOUTH!
Smooth and creamy while still having enough carbonation to keep it light on the tongue. Slightly dry finish with a clean aftertaste leaving you ready for the next sip.

Kawaii simply means “cute” in Japanese, and is associated with the pop-culture aesthetic of big-eyed and cuddly illustrations. We thought it was about time there was a lovable beer that’s downright cute and adorable.

Is this lovable little beer a lager or an ale? Yes and yes! This guy starts life with a top fermenting ale yeast and matures in cold lager temperatures. The result is this refreshingly light bodied and sweet sudsy-buddy who wants to give your tongue a hug.
