TASTING NOTES
👀 HOW’S IT LOOK?
Deep brown body with excellent clarity. Hold it up to the light and appreciate those bright crimson hues coming through the darkness. A tan head rises up and then fades to a ring around the glass.
👃 WHAT AM I SMELLING?
This one is complex, lots of dark sugar cane notes, brown sugar, deeply toasted caramel. Hints of fruit, fig, banana, dark cherry.
👅 HMMM, THAT TASTES LIKE…
The aroma didn’t mislead us. There’s immediate flavors of caramel, figs, dark cherries right there. Several sweet flavors and yet it is not tooth-achingly sweet! This is thanks to the dark malts adding a slight bit of bitterness that strikes the perfect balance. Impossibly, this all hides the booziness of the high abv while not being a hammer of flavors. All’s right with the world.
😋 THERE’S A PARTY IN MY MOUTH!
The body is medium and there is a high level of carbonation keeping the flavors lively on your tongue. The finish is clean with a hint of roast sneaking through to dry the whole experience out and leave you ready for more.
🍻 TL;DR
Delicious. Complex. Easy To Drink. High ABV. T-R-O-U-B-L-E.

LABEL TEXT
Here’s another curiosity from the Duck Foot Cryptozoological Family of Belgian Style Ales. ChupaQUADra lies on the dark end of the Belgian spectrum in the style of a Quadruple (aka “Quad”). Pour this adorable little beast into a glass to marvel at the dark malt complexity of this rich beer – misleadingly sinister in appearance.
You’ll find this happy beer will greet you with a pleasant bouquet of warm spice and sweet caramel that makes it not so scary after all. In fact, it’s down right friendly. So put down those torches and pitchforks, then raise a glass and share your new beloved monster with a friend.
