TASTING NOTES

👀 HOW’S IT LOOK?
It’s pretty. Copper ombre. The head is creamy and dense, with a deep honey color floating on a clear body.

👃 WHAT AM I SMELLING?
Cady sugar and hints of cotton candy up front when served nice and cold. It evolves so much as it warms. Raisin and clove balance each other beautifully. Fresh baked brown bread and graham cracker note support all of the delightful fruit and spice.

👅 HMMM, THAT TASTES LIKE…
The flavor picks up the careful balancing act started in the aroma. Figs and dates up front with clove and a hint of cinnamon warmth balancing. For something with so much sweetness evident it is decidedly not sweet in the finish. As it warms in the glass more flavors develop including hints of tobacco adding to the many layers of deliciousness.

😋 THERE’S A PARTY IN MY MOUTH!
This beer is creamy, velvety even. Despite all that decadent body the high carbonation level lifts all of the flavors off the tongue at the finish leaving you ready for more.

The latest entry in our CryptoBREWological family of Belgian style beers is coming atcha! Here’s a perfect lap dog of a beer. Not as high in stature as a Sasquack Tripel or ChupaQUADra, this lovable guy wants to curl up for a cuddle. Where ChupaQuadra wants to dominate with over the top sweetness, this smaller guy delivers on maltiness in spades with a red mahogany hue and a major hook of sweetness from good ole’ Belgian Candi Sugar to seal the deal. Don’t be misled by the quaffability though, he still weighs in at 7.5%. So snuggle up with our lovable PlatyPug Dubbel for a comfy tasting session as it warms up to you.
