SWEATER WEATHER
Sweater Weather is a four-piece instrumental band from San Diego, California. Drawing inspiration from rock, jazz, world music, electronica, and even 80s-era pop, they defy easy categorization. Their sound has been described, at turns, as “post-rock,” “neo-fusion,” and “punk-jazz,” and has occasionally been compared to genre-bending acts such as FORQ, Frank Zappa, Tortoise, Jaga Jazzist, Soft Machine, and The Mercury Program. Sweater Weather’s line-up includes Mike McCullough (Electric Rooster) on bass and keyboards, Demyan Drury (Legacy Pack) on drums, Joel McCullough (Starsign) on keyboards, and Zeve Marcus on guitar.
PIGIMICHI
Kiki LaPomme is a visual artist, songwriter, and performer currently living in Southern California. She often collaborates in singing and songwriting in the electronic pop band “Pigimichi”, as well as occasionally writing lyrics for experimental opera. Pigimichi is an art rock band that will make you want to dance, cry, hug, and possibly start a revolution. Their winding narratives have heavy notes of jazz, 60’s rock, and electronic dance grooves riding on top of subtle tones of sci-fi.
