DESCRIPTION:Coral Bells \nIt was the summer of 2014\, when Joshua McCleskey and Kaley Morlock moved to the sleepiest beach town in Southern California. They weren’t Coral Bells then\, but a couple of folk musicians from Oklahoma who took their chances on a town they had never been to. Their exodus led them to Imperial Beach\, a place that unexpectedly became an integral part of Coral Bells’s identity. Six months after visiting\, longtime friend and mandolin player\, Jimmy Schmitz relocated to form the trip that was frequently found at the farmer’s markets and busking in Ocean Beach. It wasn’t long before they serendipitously met Bostonian native\, Matt Rogan\, another Imperial Beach musician and transplant. After several rooftop bonfire jam sessions\, they knew they had to get organized enough to perform. Coral Bells won best Americana Album at the 2021 San Diego Music Awards for their 2020 Treehouse Tapes EP\, and have been featured on KPBS\, NPR\, 91x\, Palomar College Radio\, NBC SoundDiego\, SD Voyager Magazine\, and the SD Tribune. DESCRIPTION:Rey Condor\nThe story of Rey Condor follows how many musical projects start. “Hey\, I know a couple of awesome musicians; we should get together and play\, see what can happen.” Greg Ramirez (drums) and Fernando Kairuz (lead guitar/lead vocals) met at a local music venue called The Navajo Live back in 2022. They found that they had very similar taste in music and decided to stay in touch because they wanted to put together their own project. Greg knew another musician\, Anthony Simmonds (rhythm guitar/backing vocals) from performing in a previous band and approached him with starting a new project with Fernando.\nThe three of them discussed goals\, ambitions\, musical styles\, and probably a hundred other things. After agreeing to a jam session\, they found that they played very well with each other\, and they were onto something. DESCRIPTION:Jaden G x The Messengers \nJaden Guerrero is a 22 year old independent artist in San Diego. Jaden has performed\, as an actor in numerous Local theaters around San Diego such as Old Globe Theatre\, Onstage Playhouse\, Scripps Ranch Theatre\, New Fortune Theatre\, Maraya Performing arts\, and the Southwestern Performing arts Center.  Jaden plans on obtaining a BFA in acting and sound Design at UCSD\, and is a resident sound designer at Onstage Playhouse\, and Community actors theater. \nJaden has been playing music his entire life\, learning from family\, friends\, the Worship team in Church\, and Musical Theatre. Shortly after highschool Jaden took to the streets of Balboa Park\, Mission Beach\, and Pacific Beach as a busker where he honed his craft as a singer and guitarist. Since then he has performed gigs at a plethora of venues and events\, such as weddings\, baby showers\, and parties. He now holds a residency at QuartyardSD as a resident Artist/Host\, along with Izola Bakery. Son of Kane’s latest release “Cry For You” is available worldwide on all listening platforms and for sale. \nEvan grew up in a musical household – a legendary musical household. Both his mom and dad are considered absolutel legends in their chosen genres. His mom grew up with rock star parents\, and his dad\, Thomas Yearsley\, played in the roots-rock band\, The Paladins. His mom was the blues\, swing\, and roots rock icon Candye Kane. \nEventually\, Evan picked up the drumsticks and got to work. He jumped in as a back-up drummer for his mom’s band after her drummer couldn’t make a tour – and he remained her drummer up until her tragic and untimely death in 2016. While drumming with his mom\, Evan formed bonds with a vast array of legends\, including musicians who played with Elvis\, JOhnny Cash\, The Cramps\, and The Stray Cats\, among many others. \nAfter years behind the kit\, Evan has stepped up to the mic – literally. With so many years of music built up inside of him\, Yearsley picked up a guitar\, took to the piano\, and started writing songs under the moniker\, The Son of Kane – a tribute to his mom but also a new beginning for this already accomplished musician. In just a short time\, The Son of Kane has already gigged around the country\, been nominated for a San Diego Music Award (Best New Artists 2022\, and recorded multiple singles.
