After banding in 2019\, a debut self-titled release of eight songs was written by the band and produced by guitarist\, Ryan Parker in October 2020. Since then\, Rank Ocean has started work on a second album and has began performing live throughout SD. Definite influences of progressive rock\, alternative and indie are brought together in an original upbeat and atmospheric style. \nRank Ocean’s music is an extension of rock\, typically altering time and space through a duo electric guitars\, addings textures with synths and percussion behind a powerhouse of a Rhythm Section. The experience is brought together through poetic lyrics\, written and sung with memorable melodies and a unique voice that completes the band. Hometown friends and longtime fellow musicians\, Arturo and Abraham started a Jam project with drummer\, Edgar\, in 2019. Ryan would soon after join the tro and begin to assist in the songwriting process and overall recording and production. After deciding a vocalist was needed\, Raquel was recruited to front the band. The next two years would be spent writing\, recording\, releasing and rehearsing music in a house in La Jolla\, California. And with the flexibility of a duo\, trio\, and upwards of a sextet\, Kaylee’s group can accommodate and elevate any space. \nDaugherty’s favorite part of performing is bringing joy to her audiences. Sweater Weather’s line-up includes Mike McCullough (Electric Rooster) on bass and keyboards\, Demyan Drury (Legacy Pack) on drums\, Joel McCullough (Starsign) on keyboards\, and Zeve Marcus on guitar. \nPIGIMICHI\nKiki LaPomme is a visual artist\, songwriter\, and performer currently living in Southern California. She often collaborates in singing and songwriting in the electronic pop band “Pigimichi”\, as well as occasionally writing lyrics for experimental opera. Pigimichi is an art rock band that will make you want to dance\, cry\, hug\, and possibly start a revolution. Their winding narratives have heavy notes of jazz\, 60’s rock\, and electronic dance grooves riding on top of subtle tones of sci-fi.

For over 15 years\, Aimee has performed all over Southern California\, and parts of the UK\, with her many different musical projects. DESCRIPTION:AMANDA PORTELA DUO \nAmanda started her musical career in San Francisco\, she frequented many an open mic and one in particular at the 16th and Mission Bart Station. It was there that she was inspired to begin her path as a singer songwriter. A few years later Amanda found herself at Mesa College studying jazz and singing for the Mesa Big Band then later on joining a Congolese band in 2010 called Bateke Beat. Amanda’s musical endeavors lead her to performing at various clubs and festivals in San Diego. Portela\, used her new found passion for singing Jazz and started a popular “Jazz Jam” at a Wine Bar in the heart of Hillcrest. Shortly thereafter\, Amanda joined the Indie rock band by the name of Viva Apollo. Viva Apollo was notorious within the local San Diego music circuit\, performing in all kinds of venues including a late night local cable access show\, Tonight in San Diego.
