Duck Foot Cellars:Barrel Aged Ukrainian Imperial Stout

Barrel Aged Ukrainian Imperial Stout

What is a Ukranian Imperial Stout, you ask? It’s like a Russian Imperial Stout but with less Putin. This limited release was aged for 2.5 years in Woodford Reserve Peated Whiskey barrels. Complex malt character from caramel and other dark malts dominates this enormous beer. Notes of raisins, plums and prunes with a bittersweet chocolate finish and just a hint of peaty smoke.
